Task

Would you like to see the music? With one glimpse of the eye get the taste of the whole song? I would like to paint any classic and hang it in my living room. Let’s use following tone-to-color mappings and give the world possibility to enjoy any melody through their eyes.

Our solution

Since the art is very subjective matter, this project gave us possibility to be really creative while adjusting to client’s expectations. After several worthwhile consultations and lots of analysis (we have almost bought a piano to the office) we have implemented algorithm to translate musical scores to set of colored rectangles forming a conceptual painting. To deliver web-based and 4 mobile applications – free and paid version for both iOS and Android, able to paint the music with animation whilst playing it from speaker, we have chosen React and React Native technology, implementing whole solution within 7 man-weeks.
